Daily Success 1/10/2013 – When my child asked, “Mommy, what’s wrong with your belly?”

When my boyfriend began to lose interest in me because of my weight, that was bad. But when my child asked, Mommy, what’s wrong with your belly?” I knew I had to confront my problem, get into shape and get my health back.

I needed a program that was going to get me fast results—and didn’t require me to buy weights, because money was tight—so I picked TurboFire.

I committed myself to 90 days and told myself that I could do this. I just had to press play every day and give it my all. And guess what? I loved TurboFire! I loved how fun losing weight was with TurboFire. I didn’t feel like I was working out.

It wasn’t easy. But I kept going. Once my family saw my 30-day picture, they couldn’t believe I was doing it and losing weight. But I was! The pictures and keeping track of my weight kept me going. I have now lost a total of 58 lbs. and 45 inches over all.

Mostly, I’ve done it by myself. But my Challenge Group has been a big help. The advice I have gotten with what to eat (portions and how often) had such a huge impact on my weight loss!

I’m so happy. I’m pumped and have lots of energy. I actually feel sexy for once in my life. And my boyfriend actually tells his friends to “look at his new girlfriend!”

I’m not done, though. Now this Mama wants some abs!”

Daily Success 1/9/2013 – I considered myself to be a “skinny/chubby dude”

Although I considered myself to be a “skinny/chubby dude,” obesity runs in my family. When my grandmother passed away on Christmas day from respiratory problems caused by her obesity, I knew I needed to do something.

So I bought a size 32 swimsuit when I was a 36 and used that for my motivation. I’ve done P90X, but after seeing the Body Beast infomercial, I knew this was the product that was going to change me. I knew how to lift weight up and down, but I didn’t know how to integrate exercises together to make my workouts more efficient. But Sagi showed me.

I love Body Beast because you feel like Sagi is right there with you. He gives “cues” to make sure you’re doing everything right and not injuring yourself. And he motivates you because you want to continue the workout and not give up because he is ‘looking’ at you.

This program is fun and it works. My main goal was to lose excess body fat whilegaining lean body mass, and I had really good results. I began my journey weighing 170 lbs. at 16% body fat, and I finished at 166 lbs. at 12% body fat!

Best of all, Body Beast has changed my life in a HUGE way. I am now a more confident person. I walk taller. I talk with a deeper voice. I have become a better man.

I did this for my grandmother and ultimately for my family, so they can see that living a healthy life is not hard to do. Body Beast taught me how to be healthy and fit just by eating the right foods and training the right way.

Daily Success 1/8/2013 – After having 8 children, you could say I’ve always been a mom

1-Kimberly-TMT-RA-ShaOAfter having 8 children, you could say I’ve always been a mom. But I wasn’t always 110 lbs. overweight. No, that came from putting on 10 lbs. with each baby and never taking that weight off.

After cooking and cleaning (I do about 125 loads of laundry and over 100 loads of dishes EVERY month), home-schooling, and taking care of my husband—I just didn’t have anything left over for me… until this year.

When I saw Tony Horton with his 10-Minute Trainer workout—I said, maybe I can sneak away for 10 minutes. And I started. Soon 10 minutes became 20, and then 30, and I finished 10-Minute Trainer!!! I loved it.

But after all those babies, I decided it was time to attack my abs with RevAbs. So off I went. When I started, I had to modify. I gave birth EIGHT TIMES!!! There was NO WAY I could even consider jumping jacks. But by the end, I didn’t have to modify at all—I CAN do jumping jacks!

So far, I’ve lost 75 lbs. I give credit to 10-Minute Trainer, Rev-Abs and Shakeology. I drink Shakeology twice a day for several months. It cut cravings and gave me a good amount of protein and both start and end my day with.

Best of all, I am going to be a grandmother—at 49—next month. I used to look like a grandmother, but NOT ANYMORE! Now, I don’t even feel like a grandmother. And after all this time, I can fit into my wedding dress!!!!

Daily Success 1/7/2013 – When I started gaining weight, it was gradual at first.

When I started gaining weight, it was gradual at first. I went from 160 to 180 lbs. It didn’t feel like the end of the world, until I eventually found myself at 215 lbs. Three years later, I was so lost—as a woman, as a mother, and as a wife. I was so disgusted with myself.

To make matters worse, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome, which made it difficult for me to lose weight. When I got pregnant, I found out, it also made it difficult for me to carry to term. I lost 3 pregnancies. No one could imagine how desperate I was feeling. I was dying inside.

Thankfully, my son got through to me. I had lost my own father when I was just 15 and he was only 39. I didn’t want my son to face the same loss, and if I didn’t do something quick, I was going to end up just like my dad.

I started eating healthier and went from 215 to 168 lbs. It took six months, but I did it. My coach encouraged me, posting before & after pictures to inspire me. And I began to believe that I could actually do it—that I could transform my body—inside and out.

Tony Horton’s 10-Minute Trainer was perfect for my life. I had two jobs, a child, a house to tend to and a sick husband who needed me. Ten minutes was all the time I had—but it was enough to make a difference. I lost another 21lbs.

My body has reacted positively to all the changes I’ve made. I’ve not only lost weight, but I look good. I feel sexy. I feel like a new person. Thank you Beachbody. Thank you Tony Horton. And thank you Coach. I couldn’t have done it without you.
