Happy Monday morning and happy beginning of the week!

So for the last little while I’ve been doing my workouts in the afternoon and I found him that I was being distracted by things that needed to be done.

So I decided to move my workouts back to 5:30 a.m., because that is what works for me. 

What is you excuse?

We all have them, we’ve all use them, but when it comes down to its are excuses are just our way of getting out of something.

In most cases we can find a way to do something if we choose to, it may be hard, it may seem impossible at times, but if we put our minds to it we can do just about anything!

What is one excuse that you’ve used or are using?

Confession time!!

It is confession time! I thought I was eating healthy through the holidays but yesterday was day one.

If you have ever been a part of one of my groups, you know that we track serval things at least once a month. So when I got on the scale yesterday and saw my way up from where I usually see it, I knew I had not been tracking what I had been preaching.

I am 2 months away from my 40th birthday and it is time to get serious and make these two months count. The only way to do that is to track what I’m doing, and push myself to do better!  Workouts, nutrition, hydration and sleep!

My team is my favorite thing!

My favorite thing about helping others change their life is the friendship that you build.

The thing that keeps me going each day is my team and being able to work together for a better and brighter future.

Turkey cucumber sandwich

What did you have for lunch?
The cucumber turkey sandwich is always winner for me.

Directions:
Tell 1/2 cucumber and slice in half long ways. Deseed the cucumbers with a spoon Shred two slices of turkey lunch meat and spread across the cucumber. Cut slivers of red pepper and spread over the turkey. Pour a small amount of olive oil over  the red pepper salt and pepper to taste

You don’t have to start for a new year or even on Monday to start!

Last month before Christmas and New Years I started a new program. After losing track due to the holidays and illness I could just give up or I can wait for a better time but it’s Thursday and there is no better day to start than today!

March of Dimes donation from the Utah Beachbody Coaches

One of the great things about being part of the Beachbody community and being on the Beachbody Council board for Utah is that we get to make a difference locally

From our last meeting we were able to raise $700 for the local chapter of March of Dimes. I had the opportunity to present them with that money today.

Love yourself to be your best!

Working out and exercising are about making yourself feel better.

With that being said you should the accepting of your body no matter where are you at in your life’s journey.

Some people exercise to look good but I feel that is just an added bonus. Exercise and eating right is about giving yourself the best chance of living a happy and more productive life.

So love your body no matter what shape it is in they give yourself the best chance to live healthy.
